(Engine ON!)

The clear weather of the day was enough for me to have a very good mood, and this had also made me in the mood of starting my 'job', after days of resting. First task of all, is to draft a logo for SUF, Student Unity Front.

After months of discussion with few of my friends, or well to say, my partners, we had decided to set up a new front in UKM. This move is so important for our future plans, after we had assist GM in opening their chinese language Facebook page. We had choices, such as 'import' an existing front from other universities like Student Progressive Front, or setting up a brand new front in UKM. After all, we felt that creating a new front in UKM will be more appropriate due to our different culture and situation compared to others IPTA.

This will not be easy, and will be a road that obviously harder to walk but gladly, we have Pioneers that willing to walk this road together, just because we have same and common objectives.

Why 'Student Unity Front'?

As we know. UKM is an IPTA which the enrollment was decided by UPU or another word, the government. This had formed a 'mini society' in UKM, which consisted of students from different races.  In this society, we learned and formed the real society out of the campus in the futute. Unfortunately, there is a phenomenon that worries us. We faces a crisis of division among races. After years of independant, we could say that there is hardly a clear or obvious conflict between races, but the problem of division is still there. This can also be seen in the way of living by UKM students, where we used to live in our own community. We organise, we join, we participate, only the activities of our own races; we still see a club or a committee by the angle of race. Even in lectures, we grouped only with the friends of same race.We are just too used of being in our comfort zone, without bothering the importance of communicating with people from different backgrounds.

I would say that this situation was here since long ago, starting from our education, till our way of life. We might never spend a minute with a friend from different race before we step in to UKM. Anyway, from being a part of UKM, we have the opportunity to be a real Malaysian, a real rakyat from this country that we have the chance to understand more of others culture and their differences

Therefore, Students Unity Front aimed to improve the relationships between races and also voice up for every member in UKM without considering the colour of our skins. We believe that Malaysia's harmony society in the future depends on every rakyat in this country. There are bunches of Heroes out there, fighting for this aim today, and why should we in the campus stop ourselves from doing so, too?

*The main concept of drafting the logo is, everyone of us in Malaysia are holding hands together, as one. We are in one FAMILY.
